Is there a certain age you have to be to ride, NOT drive, on a jet ski

jw cause i'm going camping with my friend & we will prob go on the jet skis NOT DRIVE THEM!! like, sit on the back. because i know you need like a license & a jet ski safety course & stuff like that.

btw, for anyone who has ever ridden on/drove a jet ski.

No, you can be any age to ride. I think the age requirement for a life jacket is 13, so 13 years old and under must wear a life jacket, although you should anyway. They are awesome! If you have never been on a boat that goes over 30 or so, it will be a total change, and it is awesome! Its more fun to drive though, and as long as you take it easy, you should try it. The marine police are nowhere to be found, around me at least. I am 16 now, but even when I was 13, I was driving a boat at 80mph.
