my radio in the trans am just sucks. so i was wondering if the corvette radio will work and sound good

It won't work unless the Trans Am is equipped with a Bose system. The Bose head unit doesn't have an internal amplifier; it's not capable of driving speakers directly. In the Corvette, each speaker has an attached Bose amplifier. If you put the head unit into a vehicle without the Bose amplifiers, you won't get any sound.

my advice is to just buy a new one. bose radios suck!
