I bought a viper remote starter (5701) from best buy. But they said it would cost $200 plus parts to install. I have a 2008 scion tc MANUAL. What parts do I need? By pass?

Don't do it. NEVER install a remote start on a manual. There is a reason there is a warning in big bold letters on the instructions. First, it is illegal, second it is dangerous. Even if you hook up a safety switch, it could fail and if it does, you could kill someone if that car starts going down the street with no one in it. Anyone who helps you to do this could be liable if there is a problem so I doubt you will get any advice and no professional will install it for you.
